Angelina Jolie was so brave to reveal to the world her decision to undergo a double mastectomy.
And her courage is giving others the strength to talk about their own procedures!
Barbara Walters said today on The View that she too had preventative surgery! She said:
"My sister passed away from ovarian cancer and I had my ovaries removed. It’s not like having the breasts because people don’t see it. But it’s a decision you have to make — it’s preventative. What I think with Angelina Jolie — she’s such a sex symbol and we associate sex with breasts. And the fact that she did this and has retained her beauty and her sexuality. I think it was brave of her, she did it for her own health, but it was so brave to write about it. A women’s sexuality is not tied up with her breasts."
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to hear the whole heated conversation!
We applaud the bravery of these women to speak so candidly about their struggles, using their celebrity to help to remove the shame from these potentially life-saving sacrifices.
You go, gurls!

Who said this 105-year-old woman actually WANTED to live to 105?? Maybe she just has an uncontrollable love for bacon??
LOLz! Obvs we're joking — making it to 105 is a HUGE success! What's even better is that Pearl Cantrell says she owes it all to the food-that-goes-with everything: bacon!
Here's what she said:

Book stores, online or in the real world, will NEVER be the same!!
Barbara Rose Brooker's hilarious and raw new novel is out now! The Viagra Diaries is everything you've wanted to verify about sex after you've turned sixty… mostly that it does NOT stop! Ha!
Here's what the book is about:
If looking as good as Tao Porchon-Lynch does at 94 means having to do yoga for the rest of our lives, WE'RE TOTALLY IN!
LOLz!
Tao is a 94 year-old yoga guru who wants to bring to the world her practical yoga movement that exemplifies the importance and reasoning behind yoga. We can't stress enough that her age is almost exactly A CENTURY, and how that's like the best proof ever for the power of yoga!
In her new educational video (trailer above), she wants to take yoga back to its roots and unify mind, body and spirit to inspire people to reach 'beyond their comfort zone to break down self-built barriers.'
Here's what she says:
“Yoga is the joining of our mind, body and spirit. It is like nature; everything is always recycled and brought full circle. I find that I can heal myself if I do what nature does. It’s taken away stress and has helped me through crises. ”
Girl, to look that good we'd do anything you'd want us to! Ha!
Keep it up and you'll live to 150!
Backgammon and bingo are not the only games senior citizens can play!!
The Veteran Games are currently going on in San Sebastein, Spain, which allows seniors to compete in athletic events, and just when we thought that these super seniors don't try their hardest, they proved us wrong!!
In the clip (above) 95-year-old Ilmari Koppinen and 94-year-old Emiel Pauwels battled it out in a 60-meter sprint, and while we were peeping the video, they showed us that age has not taken away their ability to run fassst!!
Emiel ended up winning the race, and we think it was because he's a year younger. LOLz

These poor Royals just CAN'T seem to avoid stomach problems, can they?
Months after a pregnant Kate Middleton was hospitalized for severe morning sickness, her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, has been forced to cancel a trip to Rome because she's been admitted to King Edward VII Hospital to treat what's possibly gastroenteritis - AKA a stomach bug!
James Roscoe, a press officer for Buckingham Palace, confirmed today:

We'll pretty much believe whatever Jane Fonda tells us at this point, because girl has eaaaarned it!
Plus, she's 100% right: staying active is one of the most important parts of aging. We've seen it over and over again how someone who was very healthy starts to decline fast the moment they retire — unless they keep up the pace!
Jane says that exercise itself is the most important part of her daily routine as she ages, and at 75 while looking like that… we believe her!!
