T.R. Knight And Boyfriend Split!

wenn1902946_e.jpg

So much for having a baby, at least this time around.

T.R. Knight and boyfriend of two years Mark Cornelsen have split, according to In Touch Weekly.

A close friend to the now ex-duo cites Knight's hectic schedule as the cause of the split, but "It just came to a natural end, no hard feelings."

Easy for you to say, "friend"!

We're sure it had nothing to do with the 16 year age gap between the two!

Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl aren't the only Grey's Anatomy cast members who have babies on the brain.

T.R. Knight wants one too!

OK, so he's a former cast member, but it still counts.

While talking with Ellen DeGeneres, Tuesday, he reveals to the talk show host "I want a baby. I don't know if it's going to end up working out, but that would be something I would like."

The Grey's quitter turned Broadway actor says it's Katherine Heigl who's making him want to hear the pitter-patter of feet around the house saying "I've wanted [kids] for a while, so it reinforces it."

Katherine Heigl an "inspiration"? Seriously!?

It's probably just baby envy.

Performances begin October 4th through mid November and, then, he's off to Broadway!

Would U pay to see George T.R. take the stage?!

Why T.R. Knight Should Have Stuck Around!

wenn-trnite.jpg

By now, all you Grey's Anatomy fans know that T.R. Knight is not returning to Seattle Grace, not even for so much as a farewell episode. Well, we've just learned what his last episode would have been and we have to say.

The guy's a prick for NOT doing this!!!

Creator Shonda Rhimes had planned on a complete George-centric episode following the final day of his life as the season premiere episode.

She revealed: "I wanted to see his last day [alive] really badly. What I thought was interesting was the idea of, we now know it's the last day of someone's life, [so we’re] looking at it differently than [we] would any other time."

The episode would have book-ended with George's final act, jumping in front of the bus to save a young woman, as a way to not only exhibit the horror of the accident, but also the heroism in it. As Shonda puts it: "I thought it would have been a beautiful episode. We might have learned something new about George."

Though she says she "understands" why he didn't sign on for the episode, we can't hep but feel like it was spitting back in the faces of the people who made him famous.

T.R. made a big fuss about having more screen time and when they gave him a centralized episode, he still isn't happy!

Whatever Knight! We don't care less either way, but people who call themselves your fans might. Just a thought.

T.R. Knight Reveals Why He REALLY Left Grey's Anatomy!

ew1058cvr_promo_2.jpg

If all you Grey's Anatomy fans are still wondering where it all went wrong with George O'Malley, then read on! T.R Knight is finally coming clean about how his exit from the show came to pass.

T.R. was recently interviewed about his departure and, frankly, his decision was based purely on the bad blood he has been harboring for series creator Shonda Rimes.

Meow!

Knight admits that problems originally arose during the "Isaiahgate" incident.

T.R. remembers the incident as "frustrating," more so since it took Shonda three months to publicly condemn Isaiah Washington for his use of an anti-gay slur. Then, there was even more turmoil between the two as T.R. suggests Shonda wanted him to keep his sexuality hidden, despite his feelings that coming out of the closet would help the "Isaiahgate" situation.

But the boiling point for Knight was his lack of screen time and lack of connection with his character during the last few seasons. He resented and lost respect for his character and the people behind it: “My five-year experience proved to me that I could not trust any answer that was given [about his character, George]…It didn’t seem like an ebb to me. No other series regular’s character had ever disappeared like mine did this past season.”

And if you are hoping T.R. will return to the series in flashbacks or something - don't, because it ain't gonna happen. He flat out refused them and their big check to pursue other projects: “There just comes a time when it’s so clear that moving on is the best decision.”

We wish him the best!

Grey's Stars Talk T.R. Knight

wenn-katheigl1s.jpg

At Thursday night's premiere of The Ugly Truth, several Grey's Anatomy players came out to support Katherine Heigl's new flick, including Justin Chambers and Kate Walsh.

Justin was excited about the Emmy nods for co-stars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, but also admitted that "a piece of the puzzle is missing" without pal T.R. Knight around the set.

The gay actor left the show to pursue multiple opportunities in the theater world.

Also notably missing George O'Malley was bestie Katherine, who added how different the show will be for her now: "It's really hard actually. For me, he was such a source of friendship and support, and love and laughter. It doesn't feel the same."

We'll see how long Katherine will fair on the show without her BFF. Our guess: not long.

T.R. Knight Broadway Bound!

wenn1902977.jpg

He's giving up television - for good it seems like!

After his sudden departure from Grey's Anatomy, T.R. Knight will take the stage! And then taking to the stage again!

As we previously mentioned, Knight will star in a Los Angeles production of the musical Parade this fall.

Now, it has just been announced that the actor will also star in the upcoming Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning musical Lend Me a Tenor.

The show is set to open February 2010 and Stanley Tucci is set to direct!

Tenor centers around a Cleveland Opera Company's production of Othello. Knight will play Max, a production assistant forced to understudy for the lead, who has passed out from a double dose of tranquilizers.

Lots of luck on the stage, but we bet TV is paying the bills!

T.R. Knight Takes The Stage

wenn-trknight1.jpg

The rumors were true!

Now that T.R. Knight has more than enough extra time on his hands, he'll be hitting the center stage come September.

Too bad the former Grey's Anatomy star won't be taking Broadway by storm!

Knight, a Broadway vet himself, has signed on to to star in Jason Robert Brown's Los Angeles production of Parade.

Says Knight on his return to the theatre: "I am very fortunate to return to the theater playing Leo Frank in this incredible, acclaimed production of Parade. After a five-year break, it feels great to be on stage again."

The Tony-award winning musical is the story of "Leo Frank, convicted for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1913… [and] the press frenzy and public outrage about Frank's trial, and his wife's crusade for justice."

Parade will run from September 24th to November 15th at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

We might have to check it out!
