Maybe there's something about the California sunshine or maybe Vicky B has experienced some sort of enlightenment, because the Spice Girl reveals in a new interview that she is working out, shopping less, smiling more, and - Heaven forbid! - eating carbohydrates!!!
After a few rough, lonely, bored, homesick years in Spain that supposedly challenged her marriage to football star David Beckham, Victoria says she is in a much better place.
One of her main sources of happiness is the success of the dresses she designed and showed at Fashion Week in New York.
Really? You mean the dresses that all looked EXACTLY THE SAME?
Well, okay then, Posh!
In fact, it's her had work that's grounded and saved her. When rumors pelted her and her family in Spain, Vicky says she just kept her head down and continued to work. And, now, after taking a chance and relocating to Los Angeles, her hard work is paying off, as her fragrance line is now worth 109 million in retail, and that doesn't even include the American market.
Perhaps taking a stab at younger It Girls in Hollywood, Posh says that she could never just sit around and just go shopping and getting lunch everyday because she'd get so bored. She's pleased with the outcome of her work and the respect she's garnered in the fashion industry because of it.
Uh….
The woman who had notoriously never stepped foot in a gym and starved herself to maintain her slender frame is now running four miles seven days a week and indulging in a little carbs.
She doesn't need to run that much!
Victoria says she feels energized and healthier and that working out allows her to think and function better. She even has the strength to smile more now!
Apart from a lawsuit concerning the tabloids and rumors of diet pills, Victoria says, "I don’t really give a shit what people think about me. I’m more grown up now and I’ve learned not to care so much what people say."
And while her short trendy hair cut and smiles might boast confidence, girlfriend please listen to us when we tell you that you can have a slice of bread without having to run four miles everyday!
And maybe even eat a second slice of toast!!!
Hell! Go ahead and eat a whole loaf and take a week off from the gym!
