Trump Made An Innuendo-Filled Joke About Crowd Size -- But Beto's May Have Been Bigger!

Donald Trump Beto ORourke El Paso Rally Crowd Size

The fact our president lies repeatedly about something as easily verifiable and unimportant as crowd size should really worry you.
Donald Trump went down to the border city of El Paso, Texas on Monday evening to keep whipping up support for his stupid wall.

Not only did he lie about crime rates dropping in the town (and get in a fight with El Paso’s mayor along the way), but he also took a moment before the rally to poke fun at Beto O’Rourke.
The possible presidential candidate is actually FROM the area and staged a counter-rally to combat the message of hate.
So of course Trump made a size joke about their crowds:

“We have a line that is very long already, I’m mean you see what’s going on. And I understand our competitor’s got a line too, but it’s a tiny little line.”

And he held his finger and thumb up for emphasis.
Really? Why is it when Trump competes with a man he turns to penis innuendo? We mean, it seems so self-defeating…

In this case, it was more than the double entendre working against Trump; it was the facts as well.
At one point in the evening Trump claimed to have gotten permission to pack 10,000 people into the 8,000 capacity arena in which he was speaking.
The El Paso Fire Department quickly dispelled that claim, telling the El Paso Times they had given no such permission. They also corrected the POTUS — the arena held only 6,500 supporters.
Of course, the facts have never stopped Trump, who later on upped his previous exaggeration, by a LOT:

“So we have, let’s say, 35,000 people tonight. And [O’Rourke] has 200 people, 300 people. Not too good.”

Trump had nowhere near 35,000 people.
But how many Texans actually did gather to hear O’Rourke describe a more compassionate approach to immigration, including a path to citizenship?
According to multiple sources reporting on the event, O’Rourke had somewhere in the neighborhood of 7,000-8,000. (Some local police estimates reportedly had it as high as 10-15,000 though that is unconfirmed.)
Trump may ultimately have had more people show up in the end — the Fire Department only got an accurate count of those inside the Trump rally for safety reasons, and spokesman Enrique Aguilar said “it might be 10,000 with the people outside.”
But he couldn’t even stop lying and let the numbers speak for themselves. On Tuesday he doubled down, telling reporters he’d heard Beto had “less than 1,000 people.”
Again, these big little lies should scare you. Because if he’s willing to lie about this stuff just imagine when it comes to our national security…
Here’s what the truth looks and sounds like:
