If you've been following the gut-wrenching details of the Stanford rape case, you know there's a ton of controversy surrounding why Brock Turner was only sentenced to six months of prison after he sexually assaulted an unconscious woman behind a dumpster last year.

As a response, the four ladies of the hit HBO series created a powerful PSA to raise awareness and show support for sexual assault survivors.

Lena Dunham is making a very powerful statement.

As you may know, this week Oklahoma's state legislature passed a bill that makes performing abortions a felony. Obviously, this caused much backlash from pro-choice advocates who argue this bill directly conflicts with Roe v. Wade and women's right to choose.

The 30-year-old actress hopped in the conversation on Thursday when she posted a throwback photo to Instagram of her laying in a bath tub with a then-pregnant Girls co-star Jemima Kirke (above).

Lena Dunham Reveals Girls Costar Nick Lashaway Was Tragically Killed In A Car Crash — See Her Touching Tribute

This is so sad.

On Wednesday, Lena Dunham revealed that her former Girls costar Nick Lashaway has passed away. The 29-year-old sadly admitted that she learned the actor was killed in a car accident on Sunday.

According to MetroWest Daily News, the 28-year-old died in a three-car crash in Framingham, Massachusetts. After the 6:30 p.m. accident, the Washington, D.C. native was taken to MetroWest Medical Center.

Tragically, Lt. Harry Wareham explained he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Lena took the sad news pretty hard, since Nick had appeared alongside her in an episode of her HBO hit.

The actress went on Instagram to share a sentimental snap from one of their scenes together, penning a touching tribute in the caption, writing:

"Just heard the incredibly sad news that Nick Lashaway was killed in a car accident on May 8th. Nick was such a talented, funny and kind person and we were so lucky to have him as a part of the Girls family when he played Frank in episode 207."

The New York native also reflected on her favorite things about her former costar, adding:
