So touching…but so sad at the same time…
Lilly was rescued and given to Christine Spain by her son. Spain suffered from depression and alcoholism, so Lilly's presence was essential to keeping her on the straightened arrow.
Unfortunately, Spain didn't take some tragic family news well and relapsed.

Sad…
The black bear made famous for falling from a tree on the University of Colorado campus died Thursday after he was struck by two cars on the interstate.
The Colorado Parks and Wildlife department picked up the bear and immediately identified him as the infamous flyer at CU.
Spokesperson Jennifer Churchill said the following on the sad occasion:
It's a bummer.
It's so hard to go through this and not be able to give these bears a good place to live.
This is definitely a big bummer…we'll miss this bear!
