This story is taking a dark twist… and considering it started with a sex trafficking victim getting hit by a bus, that’s saying something.
Virginia Giuffre — a Jeffrey Epstein victim who famously spoke out about the billionaire sex trafficker earlier than most — said Monday she was dying. The now 41-year-old posted to her Instagram a pic in which she looked bruised up on a hospital bed. She explained her car had been hit by a school bus, and she’d suffered injuries that were, per doctors, going to cost her her life in a matter of days:
“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology.”
Tragic stuff…

However, doubt was cast on her story Tuesday when the Western Australia Police Force told The Mirror they’d gotten a report alright — but of “a minor crash.” A WAPF spokesperson told the outlet:
“The Western Australia Police Force received a report of a minor crash which occurred between a bus and a car in Neergabby on 24 March just after 3pm. The collision was reported by the bus driver the following day. The car sustained approximately $2000 (£967) worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.”
This didn’t fit with Virginia’s story. Obviously she could be far more injured than she realized later on, it happens. But the crash she described was far worse than what the WAPF is reporting.
She said she was hit at 110 kmph — that’s 68 miles per hour. A school bus full of children, which she says this one was, would never be going that fast, right? And if it hit a car, that wouldn’t be a situation with no obvious injuries.
Unfortunately there are plenty of powerful men who would like nothing more than to discredit Virginia Giuffre in any context. She’s spoken out about Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton‘s involvement with Epstein. She’s named other men. And with one of Epstein’s best pals ever as President of the United States again, a lot of folks are oddly quick to attack his accusers all of a sudden. Weird how that works.
But what we’re seeing isn’t adding up. Not even with Giuffre’s family’s statement, which reads:
“Virginia thanks everyone for the outpouring of love and support. She is overwhelmed with gratitude. Today she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care. On March 24, in rural Western Australia, a school bus hit the car in which she was riding. The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene. They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital. The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children and left the scene to get them back, saying he would file a police report, which he did later. Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Virginia’s condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital.”
OK, that mostly works. Again, internal injuries from car accidents can be really dangerous because they’re undetected at first.
But the bus driver didn’t file a police report until the next day after crashing into another car going nearly 70mph?! That doesn’t hold water, does it? The statement ended:
“Concerning her Instagram post, Virginia thought that she had posted on her private Facebook page. Virginia and her family thank everyone for their concern.”
She only intended to post to her Facebook? Was she so injured she got confused? Hmm. At this point her original post is feeling about as credible as Prince Andrew in that Newsnight interview.
We hope it turns out Virginia was mistaken, not just about where the post went but about facts in it. We’d hate for her to pass away in such a cruel way, at such a young age.
At the same time, we also worry those defending Epstein and his co-conspirators are going to have a field day if anything she said here was wrong.
What do YOU think is going on??
