Walmart Pulls 'Little Amigo' Halloween Costume After Racism Backlash!

Wal-Mart is already facing backlash for a Halloween costume!

Halloween is JUST around the corner, and you know what that means! Lots and lots of super offensive costumes are coming!!

We've already seen our fair share of outrage with a Caitlyn Jenner costume, and of course who could possibly forget the "sexy" Donald Trump costume!

But now Walmart is getting in on the action as their website offered a child's costume that was simply called "Little Amigo!"

For just $12.99, customers would get a package that includes a sombrero and a fake mustache so they can "dress like [their] favorite amigo!"

It didn't take long for customers to call out Wal-Mart for selling a costume that plays on racial stereotypes, and the company responded by pulling the item from their website!

However, Wal-Mart isn't exactly taking responsibility for the blunder as reps claim it from a third-party seller and should have never ended up on the site in the first place!

Well we can at least all agree on that!

Seriously, when are companies going to realize costumes based on race are NEVER OK??? Besides, whatever happened to little kids just dressing up as Power Rangers for Halloween???

Matt Damon sparked a bit of controversy after his comments on diversity during Project Greenlight's premiere episode on Sunday night!

When discussing which director to helm the project on this season of the HBO docu-series, it appeared that The Martian star was disregarding producer Effie Brown's concerns about the need for diverse hiring processes, to which he responded:

"When we're talking about diversity, you do it in the casting of the film, not in the casting of the show."

After receiving significant backlash for seemingly explaining diversity to Brown, the Oscar winner has issued an apology.
