Katy Perry had a frighteningly fun birthday bash this weekend!

Celebrating her big day with boyfriend John Mayer, KatyKat got into character, wearing a sexy white and red vampire costume while John wore a prosthetic nose and went as a tough and rugged zombie hunter.

Katy's transformation into the Queen of the Damned took some work though!

She put on blood red contact lenses and realistic vampire fangs for the party, which was held at the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

It seems like some people aren’t too happy about Selena Gomez’s photo shoot in the July issue of Elle.

The boobilicious spread is a far cry from Selenita's good girl Disney image and since she has a younger fan base, she’s catching some backlash.

Gomez explained:

"Honestly, I do understand that I have a younger fan base, but I also have a fan base that’s my age and that I kind of relate to. I am getting a little older, but it’s not anything that I’m not proud of. I think it was very classy. It isn’t anything that I wasn’t comfortable with. I thought it was beautiful — I loved it.”

The singer/actress will be 20 in July, so isn’t it time to let her grow up? No one wants to be stuck in the “teeny bopper” stage forever!
