Metta World Peace woke up this morning to the news of police confronting four armed men in his condo complex! The men, 3 with handguns and one with a shotgun, were called out over a loudspeaker, which alerted Metta's brother and cousin to come out of the condo to see what's up.

Things are going pretty good for Alex Rodriguez these days.

Not only does he have ANOTHER gorgeous and toned blonde on his arm, but he just sold his New York City pad for a $2.5 million profit!

He bought the 3,600-square-foot four-bedroom condo for $5.5 million last march, but sold it for $8 million at a time when most people are selling their homes for LESS than what they paid.

We're sure he put some money into the place to make it look damn good on the inside, but kudos to him for getting his money's worth.
