Vogue Celebrates 120th Anniversary With New Documentary!

It's like the September Issue part deux!

Vogue is celebrating their 120th anniversary with a brand new documentary on HBO titled In Vogue: The Editor's Eye!

Like Abrams' book with the same name, the film profiles Vogue editors past and present including Anna Wintour, Polly Mellen, Babs Simpson and Grace Coddington.

La Wintour said of the celebratory film:

"The people who are responsible for the fashion images are the fashion editors. They have always been our secret weapon, so it seemed to me that we could celebrate Vogue, and also, at the same time, celebrate these great editors."

The doc also features interviews with designers like Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs and Nicolas Ghesquière along with cover stars Nicole Kidman and Sarah Jessica Parker and even gives a behind the scenes look at photo shoots.

Sounds like all sorts of fabulousness!

Mark your calendars: In Vogue premieres December 6th!

Will U be watching?!?

Legendary Supermodels Discuss Ageism In New HBO Doc

Filed under: TV NewsModelsChristie BrinkleyReality TV

Modeling is a fickle industry.

It's also not kind to women who start to show their age - or any age above 20, for that matter.

So, what happens when you're a legendary supermodel making tons of money and traveling the world? We don't hear much from models of the past, such as Christie Brinkley, Jerry Hall, Beverly Johnson, Isabella Rossellini, and Cheryl Tiegs.

Until now… HBO will be airing a new documentary called About Face: Supermodels Then And Now, which tells the stories of some of the most recognizable women in the modeling industry and what their struggles have been with fighting ageism in the fashion world.

You know they have some incredible tales and strong opinions to share!

Check out the trailer for the new doc (above)!

Teen Vogue really seems to love Lauren Conrad.

The former Hills star is once again gracing the cover of Teen Vogue, this time on their November issue.

And the MTV star opens up about her life, career, and her new documentary-style reality show. Says Lauren of the show:

"For the first time, they're going to actually acknowledge the fame that comes along with the show. It's not going to revolve around my personal life. Filming the last two shows, I never had the opportunity to show everything I was working for. This time the focus is going to be on my job, and while that's still personal to me, I will also have a part of my life that can be mine."

But people care about your personal life ’bb.

Though Lauren is really loving the concept of yet-to-be-titled new show, adding:

"One of the inspirations for this show is The September Issue. It's going to be filmed more like a documentary. This show is going to have a smaller crew, and they'll just be following us around. It's going to have a rougher feel, but I think the end result is going to be more true."

As for the cover shot, we’re loving the blue Nanette Lepore dress she’s wearing. Are U?

Then check out a special behind-the-scenes clip of Lauren after the jump!
