Iraq war veteran Daniel 'Doc' Jacobs has realized a long-time dream of his, and has tried out for the Dodgers. This heart warming talk has a special circumstance, though, as Doc lost part of his leg in an explosion while serving.

Awesomely, regardless of his amputation, he was encouraged to attend by Hall of Famer and former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda — it was an honor for himto try out for the Dodgers, something we're sure was much easier than the 50 surgeries he's had to go through since the IED blast.

While he might not have made the team, he DID throw out a ceremonial first ball before the Dodgers beat the Los Angeles Angels!

Last year, Fox sports struck a deal with the L.A. Dodgers that baseball's commissioner shot down.

It was a crazy 20-year, $3 billion deal that gave the Dodgers 30% of the Fox Sports channel.

Discussions have started again and a new deal has apparently been put on the table.

Apparently, during breaks between innings, the Philly Phanatic, Philly's mascot, has some time to get his dance on — but of course, he needed some help.
