Seriously?

The governor of Michigan is obviously not a Wolverine fan as he's totally OK'd a bill that will allow the hunting of the gray wolf.

Not too long ago - the species was nearly driven to extinction, but since then has experienced something of a resurgence.

Feelings about wolves divide the public. Some feel they're a nuisance that prey on farm animals, while others respect their unfiltered wildness.

A picture of a giant wolf killed in Michigan has really got some people talking.

The wolf was struck by a car and killed in an accident on a highway.

A man took a picture of himself holding the dead wolf, which weighed an incredible 100-pounds and was almost as tall as him!!

Even though the death was an accident, it's sparked a debate in Michigan regarding the hunting of wolves. A new law may go into effect

A cat named Baby is suffering from a headache of a lifetime after he was shot with an arrow…

In the head!!!!

Miraculously, the feline is still alive and his owner says Baby came home with the arrow after going for a walk.

Who could do such a thing????!!!!!

The cat is being treated at Michigan State University and he's expecting to make a full recovery.

It's getting colder and colder out as winter approaches.

So one of the last animals you'd think of during the colder months would probably be an alligator.

And the last place you'd expect to see an alligator is probably in Michigan.

But that's exactly where a loose gator was spotted, just roaming around the grass outside of a church in Michigan.

After four months, Petey, the Jack Russell terrier, will be returning to his home in Tennessee… after being found in Michigan!!

A microchip implanted in the dog helped rescuers close the 600-mile gap and find the dogs rightful home.

Petey's 71 year old owner would have his morning coffee every day with Petey in his lap, until one day, he disappeared.

No one knows how Petey made such a long journey but his owner had an idea, saying how Petey loved to go for rides in the car.

He said:

"We don't have any ties in Michigan. Petey had gone a little bit out of the yard. He's a friendly dog."

They fliered their town, took out ads in the local newspaper and took to Facebook to try and find him.

Luckily a Michigan native found Petey in their backyard and took him to a Humane Society center where he was scanned and a chip was found.

A rep for the HSUS said:

"Microchips do make it more likely that a pet will be found. One in three pets go missing sometime in their lives and the chances of them finding their way home aren't very good."

When Petey's owner heard that Petey was found and was on his way home, he was stunned.

A family member said:

"He was dumbfounded. If it hadn't been for the chip, we'd have never have known what happened to him."

The reunion is a much needed blessing for the 71-year-old man, because he had just lost his wife, two weeks ago.

He doesn't have to be alone anymore.

Best vacation EVER!

Miley Cyrus, who recently brought home a dog named Floyd, got to spend some quality time with her new pup and his littermate, Willow.

Floyd joined Cyrus and her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, along with Willow and her new mom, model-actress Erin Lucas, for a weekend of relaxation on Michigan's Orchard Lake.

Mi-cy bragged about her cuteness overload on Twitter.

"It's official. Me and Erin Lucas have the cutest babies ever. Willow and Floyd it's a family affair.

"Luckiest Auntie in the world. Don't count on me coming out of this trailer anytime soon. #heaven."

We'd miss Miley, but if she were to spend the rest of her life with Liam and puppies we'd totally get it.

Talk about classy!

Authorities say three intoxicated men stole a 14-foot flattened and preserved alligator, strapped it to a pickup truck and took it off-roading to a mud bogging party.

Michigan residents and classy senior citizensDouglas Earl Ward, 55, and Roy Allen Griffith, 60, along with John Earl Sanborn, 53, are each charged with breaking and entering for allegedly stealing the 14-foot stuffed alligator from a man's barn.

The men tied the gator to the top of a pick up and took it off-roading.

Police found the men - by following the cars tracks — and discovered their blood-alcohol content exceeded 0.40, which is five times the state's legal limit if someone were to drive.

Griffith (the driver) is free on a $10,000 personal bond.
