WHO the hell has that kind of money to spend on a painting??
On Thursday, The Scream by Edvard Munch was sold for nearly $120 million — making it the most expensive artwork ever sold!
The new owner of the eerie pastel painting is anonymous. Howeves, we DO know that he/she just looooves creepy paintings!!
The Scream was expected to be auctioned off for about $200 million. So… we suppose the buyer kinda got a good deal… right??

Today's fan pet of the day is… Picasso!
TeddyHilton.com reader, Céline, sent us pictures of her pretty kitty all the way from Hong Kong.
She's actually French but has been living in Hong Kong for three years. Teddy has fans from all over!
She told us she lost her cat after 17 years! So sad after having such a good friend for so long.
But her boyfriend surprised her with her new "little monster" for christmas last year.
The little cutie turned one in September, so happy belated birthday little guy!
p.s. - Nice shoes!!

Peter Brant just can't catch a break.
On top of being in the middle of a bitter divorce battle with ex-wife and former model Stephanie Seymour, he's had to auction off his own property to save his business White Birch Paper Company from bankruptcy!
The two were back in court on Friday when Brant revealed he'd auctioned off the couple's Pablo Picasso painting Le Baiser, which made him $19.1 million. He then used that money to keep his company from going bankrupt.
Stephanie's lawyers said the media mogul failed to notify his ex-wife about the sale, which will most likely be brought up when the couple's divorce hearing goes to trial in September.
Peter was also ordered to undergo random drug testing, even though he requested to be exempt from them.

The Paris Museum of Modern Art has been subjected to what "appears to be on of the biggest" art heists ever as a lone thief made off with 5 paintings potentially worth hundreds of millions of Euros!
He made off with major works by Matisse and Picasso when the museum's security system was disabled. There were three guards on overnight duty, but they claim they didn't see anything. The thief was spotted on a security camera.
Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe says to the thieves:
"You cannot do anything with these paintings. All countries in the world are aware, and no collector is stupid enough to buy a painting that, one, he can't show to other collectors, and two, risks sending him to prison.
"In general, you find these paintings, these five paintings are un-sellable, so thieves, sirs, you are imbeciles, now return them."
Hopefully they get returned safe and sound!
