The Land Of The Dead Gets A Pixar Touch In The First Teaser Trailer For Coco! WATCH!

Pixar fans get hyped!

On Wednesday, the first teaser trailer for the animation studio's latest film, named Coco, dropped — and it already looks incredible. Coco tells the tale of a young boy, voiced by newcomer Anthony Gonzalez, who makes a musical jaunt through the Land of the Dead on Dia de los Muertos.

While this isn't the first movie made about the Day of the Dead, the animated flick's director, Lee Unkrich was determined to "do right" by the culture as he made sure to cast only Latino actors as his stars. Lee explained to EW:

"Toy Story 3, we had this moment where Jessie turns on the boom-box and the Gipsy Kings do a Spanish language version of You've Got a Friend in Me. Which, it turned out, ended up being a real precursor to this movie. The day John Lasseter gave the thumbs up for this movie, I immediately felt this huge weight drop onto my shoulders because I knew that we were doing something different than we had ever made at the studio and that for the first time, we were going to have this enormous responsibility to do right by this culture and not lapse into stereotype or cliché."

Hear! Hear! In addition to Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt and Gael García Bernal also voice characters in this soon-to-be hit.

Reese Witherspoon is a doting mother, an accomplished businesswoman, and has been one of the biggest names in Hollywood for well over a decade — but even the Oscar winner has flaws! (Well, at least one…)

In a recent TV interview, the 40-year-old let it slip that she had to quit a movie because she was unable to master a convincing Scottish accent.

The confessional aired on ITV's daytime show Lorraine, where Witherspoon sat down with Matthew McConaughey to promote their animated film Sing!

When Ross King asked the two actors about the hardest accents they've had to perform, the Legally Blonde star made the slip-up, saying:

"Scottish is really… I don't want to talk about it. I tried to do a Scottish accent once. It was bad. I had to quit the movie."

"The movie" in reference was Pixar's 2012 film Brave — which Reese was supposed to lend her voice to play the lead character Merida, but had to back out due to

From this moment… everything will change.

While Cars 2 didn't quite live up to the hype set by the original movie, it looks like Pixar is going in a completely new direction for Cars 3!

That's because the first teaser trailer for the Disney sequel dropped on Monday… and it looks downright adult!

Video: Disney Drops First Trailer For Live Action Beauty & The Beast!

Not only is the animation itself noticeably sharper — and therefore less cartoon-y — but the minute-long clip doesn't even feature a single joke from Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Bonnie Hunt, or Cheech Marin.

No, in place of comedy, the preview doubles down on drama as Lightning McQueen seemingly gets into a life-altering car crash!!!

We're sure it'll end up being family friendly in time for its June 16, 2017 debut… but right now, we're thinking this might be one for just the 'rents.

When it comes to anything animated, Disney's CGI subsidiary studio Pixar pretty much rules the world.

The company has won countless awards for their films — and it looks like they could earn another one thanks to their new short Borrowed Time!

The animated flick, which dropped earlier this week, follows an aging sheriff in the old west as he revisits and tries to come to terms with a tragedy from his past. Like other Pixar features Up and Inside Out, this one gets sad AF!

One of the film's co-creators, Lou Hamou-Lhadj, spoke a bit about the reasoning behind the story saying:

"A goal for us was to make something that kind of contested the notion of animation being a genre and one for children specifically. We really wanted to make something that was a little bit more adult in the thematic choices and show that animation could be a medium to tell any sort of story."

It had to happen, right?

After Seth Rogen and Co. released the HIGHlariously dark Red Band trailer for the animated comedy Sausage Party, we hoped that no child would ever have to lay eyes on the totally effed up story about ill-fated grocery food items who try to avoid getting mercilessly eaten by humans.

So, when audiences in Concord, California showed up to watch the new family film Finding Dory, they were understandably shocked to watch a trailer for the non-family friendly R-rated film ahead of the PG Pixar sequel!

Theatergoers were so upset and offended by the trailer — which features animated food items getting killed in a Saving Private Ryan-esque grocery store massacre — that Brenden Concord 14 theatres had to release an apology!

After the accidental adult screening earlier this month, Brenden's VP of operations Walter Eichinger said it was a mistake that was caught quickly, releasing the statement:

The Honest Trailer For Finding Nemo Reminds Us That The Real Life Ocean Is Dark & Full Of Terrors! Watch!

We can't wait to see Finding Dory and be reunited with our favorite characters from Finding Nemo!

Now that the beloved forgetful fish is returning to theaters this weekend, the good folks at Screen Junkies thought it would be appropriate to give the original undersea Pixar film an Honest Trailer!

In the video, we're reminded how Marlin (Albert Brooks) continuously exploits Dory's mental disability throughout the story… but it's okay, because Ellen DeGeneres is funny!

The trailer also mentions how even though the film's biggest lesson was to leave wild fish in the ocean where they belong, Finding Nemo's popularity actually caused a sharp decline in the wild clown fish population.

Oh, and let's not forget about the rise of seafood restaurants with fun names like "Frying Nemo." Yikes!

Ch-ch-check out the funny vid (above) to see Finding Nemo get the Honest Trailer treatment — and go see Finding Dory in theaters June 17!

Did The New Finding Dory Trailer Just Low-Key Introduce Pixar's First Lesbian Couple?!

no title

When Ellen DeGeneres dropped the newest trailer for Finding Dory on Tuesday, we were immediately taken back to when Finding Nemo first premiered way back in 2003.

However, we clearly should have paid more attention to the Disney teaser, because it looks like Pixar may have just animated their first lesbian couple!

Shortly after the extended preview surfaced, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that two female characters were featured in an aquarium scene on what could very well be a date!

While there's nothing outwardly pointing to the girls being more than just friends on a friend date to the aquarium… the sweatshirt tied around the waist and the short haircut sure scream gay to us! LOLz!

If the two women really are a couple, Dory would join Dog with a Blog, Gravity Falls, and Frozen as Disney's fourth film or TV show to include LGBT characters.
