Just another reason why you don't mess with Carrie Underwood!!!
A couple of weeks ago we reported how Carrie was pissed about an ag gag bill getting passed by Tennessee lawmakers.
The ag gag bill would've made it basically impossible for animals rights activists to secretly document abuse.
Carrie was so mad back then she said she would show up at Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam's house if it was passed!
Well, Bill made sure that didn't happen.
His office has released this statement:

The one and only Liza Minnelli is taking a stand in support of same-sex marriage!
The Broadway legend recently posed for the NOH8 Campaign — the portrait of which has officially been revealed (above).
Liza is one of many celebrities to speak up about LGBT issues in both visual and verbal protest, joining the ranks of recent additions including The Hunger Games’ Josh Hutcherson. When asked about her thoughts, the star said:
“Here’s what I believe… No shame. No Blame. No guilt. Be happy, and be who you are. I love you.”

Well, well. American Idol’s judges’ feud may have finally gotten to Mariah Carey.
The singer is reportedly leaving the show, following ongoing tensions with fellow judge Nicki Minaj.
A source revealed that Mariah not only wants to leave the show, but she doesn't even want to try to finish out this season:
“Mariah doesn’t want to come back, Nicki is really disrespecting her and she’s tired of trying to bite her tongue all the time… One night Nicki tried to be kind of nice, but Mariah didn’t bite, so I guess she figured screw that.”
Though, it seems Mariah’s decision to leave is not solely based on Nicki. The source added:

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is an extremely popular figure who may even have a chance to be the next president of the United States!
But count PETA out as fans of Christie after he killed a spider in front of a bunch of school kids!

There is a new law in New Jersey that says that if you're overdosing on ANY drug, you can call for medical assistance without the fear of legal repercussion! This SHOULD save lives!
Naysayers say that this is just a removal of a deterrent from taking drugs in the first place!
Bon Jovi is NOT one of those people! In fact, he applauds this new law, as his daughter survived a drug overdose just a few months ago! He was even there for the signing by Chris Christie!

Many non-straight humans in Rhode Island were granted the right to officiate their love last night, a right that is STILL denied to the majority of same sex couples the world over.
RI — which is a largely Catholic region– is now the tenth American state to legalize same sex marriage. The bill passed 56-15 in a State House vote.
House Speaker Gordon Fox, D-Providence — who himself is gay and is pictured embracing his partner (above) — said last night:
