WTF?!

Police in Queens, NY were contacted by school administrators after an 8-year-old boy purchased a handgun from a fellow classmate for $3.

The boy thought the gun was a toy and took it home to show his mother. When she realized he was holding a real gun, she took her son and the pistol back to school, where administrators alerted the police.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the gun had "three live rounds in it and … a live round was found on the floor of the school room."

The 8-year-old who sold the gun has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon. His father has also been charged with criminal possession and acting in a manner to injure a minor.

The father allegedly purchased the gun for "self-protection."

It's so unbelievably shocking that parents are still recklessly purchasing hand guns and allowing their children to have access to them.

We don't blame the boy's mother for being outraged. So many people could have been hurt. Thankfully, there was no damage.

Absolutely terrible! We are so sickened and disturbed by this!

On Monday night, a group of teenagers crashed a birthday party in Queens, NY, and killed 18-year-old recent high school grad Anthony Collao.

The suspects include Alex Velez, 16, Nolis Ogando, Christopher Lozada and Luis Tabales, all 17, who were arrested, and then "arraigned Monday night on charges of manslaughter and assault in Queens Criminal Court and were each held on bail of $100,000 to $200,000."

According to the party hosts, the suspects "flashed gang signs, yelled anti-gay slurs and scrawled epithets in red marker on the walls."

Friends of Collao say he had a girlfriend and wasn't actually gay, although the men who threw the party are openly gay.

Here's what neighbor Angela Marinella had to say about the victim:

"He was a very respectful, very friendly, very handsome young man. It breaks my heart."

And here's what friend Pete Thearle had to say about the killers:

"I hope they go away for the rest of their lives. But that won't bring him back."

Such a tragic, pointless death! We truly hope justice is served against the guilty parties.

Our thoughts go out to Anthony's family and friends during this very difficult, sad time.

Check out Roseanne’s announcement that she will be running for both President of the United States of America and Prime Minister of Israel.

For those of you who might be skeptical about Roseanne as a viable candidate for those two positions, we can't blame you. As is always the case, she goes too far, BUT she does make some good points as well.

He's pleading not guilty!

JetBlue diva and badass Steven Slater arrived in a Queens courtroom today to fight the charges of reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal trespass he's facing after having a post-passenger spat meltdown and hopping off the plane he was attending onto the emergency exit slide at JFK, and now even crazier details are emerging!

According to sources, Slater was arrested last night at his Queens home WHILE he was banging his boyfriend! He's currently being held on $2500 bail.

We also would like to retract our wishes to give him a cocktail, because we're hearing he's a recovering alcoholic!

The DA Richard Brown said this morning in court:

"The emergency chute deploys at 3,000 pounds per square inch within seconds and could easily injure or kill ground crews or others on the tarmac who are unaware the chute has been activated. This would have been a far different arraignment if someone had been standing under the emergency chute when it deployed.”

However, Slater's lawyer, Howard Turman, argued:

"There was no one below the window. People who deal with the public face stress."

On top that, Slater is allegedly HIV positive and is tending to his mother, who is dying from cancer.

Sounds like this guy had a lot on his plate and he just couldn't take it anymore!

It will certainly be interesting to see how this trial goes, given the MASSIVE amounts of press that it's getting!

Justin Bieber surprised fans Friday night at a concert under the 59th Street Bridge in Queens, New York.

He sent out a Tweet giving away tickets to his free concert to 800 lucky fans, which of course threw girls in a frantic frenzy.

He later Tweeted:

"had a blast at the secret show in Queens…need to rest my voice and get some sleep."

Rest up, bb. And don't forget to condition that hair!
