Sure, the James Bond character was traditionally white but so was the lead in Annie!

Roger Moore, a former Bond, said that someone who is "English-English" should play Bond. Many misconstrued his words as racist and confusing.

So in case you hadn't heard, someone at Deadline wrote an op-ed that wondered allowed, "sure we're getting more ethnic diversity on TV, but is it TOO MUCH ethnic diversity on TV?"

No, srsly.

The title of the article is Pilots 2015: The Year Of Ethnic Casting — About Time Or Too Much Of A Good Thing?

Basically the article posits that after scoring big hits with Empire, Fresh Off The Boat, and How To Get Away With Murder, networks are making a big push to put more ethnicities front and center on TV — but that this initiative is wrong because it's hurting white actors!

The topic of racism isn't new to Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian West's baby daddy has been at the center of somewhat controversial situations when it comes to that age old word.

Like when he decided to take a stand against racism and wore the Confederate flag on the sleeve of his jacket — or when he spoke about racism at the BET Honors this year — he's here to say enough with that old concept.

We're very disturbed by the recent events at University of Oklahoma.

On Sunday, a video leaked of an University of Oklahoma fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, engaged in an extremely racist chant while en route to an event.

The video is so egregious that it sent shockwaves throughout the media immediately after it was posted, and the chapter has since been shut down.

The national headquarters of Sigma Alpha Epsilon released the following statement:

The debate over whether Giuliana Rancic made the same Zendaya "weed" comment multiple times during the most recent taping of Fashion Police has grown legs and taken on a life of it's own!

Although it has been reported that the FP panel taped that specific episode three times and the E! News host reportedly said the same line every single take, Access Hollywood's Billy Bush finds that hard to believe — even confirming via text that Rancic said they taped the show only once.

​EXCLUSIVE! MTV Will Honor Martin Luther King Jr. By Airing In Black & White For The First Time Ever To Get Everyone Talking About Race

Race is an issue that this needs to be talked about, and MTV is trying to get the conversation started.

This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, for the first time in the network's history, they'll be airing all of their programs in black and white from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The goal is jar audiences enough that they'll begin having, what MTV is calling "The Talk – candid, confident and 'color brave' conversations on race and bias." It's all a part of their Look Different anti-bias campaign.

Throughout the day, monologues from people like Kendrick Lamar, Common, Big Sean, Ava DuVernay, David Oyelowo, Penn Badgley, Jordin Sparks, Pete Wentz, Sen. Rand Paul, Rep. John Lewis, and Sen. Cory Booker will air, to help get people to discuss our differences.
