After years of dominating the sport, Dario Franchitti has decided to walk away from competitive racing for good!

Ashley Judd's hubby was involved in a pretty bad accident last month at the Grand Prix in Houston, and he was lucky to walk away with only a broken right ankle, a concussion, and two fractured vertebrae.

However, the incident was still enough to convince him to hang up his helmet and retire.

Apparently when a man sells one of his testicles for $35k, that means he's frugal. You see, because he only needs one — so why WOULDN'T he sell the other one for a boatload of cash??

Mark Parisi really does view the decision as frugality, not weird!

The Las Vegas resident said this about his decision to get one of this balls removed:

"What you do is you go in and you donate one of your testicles, they replace it with an artificial one and when you check out after 14 days you get a check for $35,000."

Apparently Mark is a marketer for an upscale coffee shop and bakery, who also loves participating in clinical trials. Well, as much as someone can possibly love it — because it helps him to avoid

That's right, at 64 years old, Diana Nyad has NO plans to get out of the swim game, and it now looking forward to swim for 48 STRAIGHT HOURS next month — with celebs doing laps with her! It will all be done in a specifically designed pool in NYC to help Superstorm Sandy relief!

We just hope the "specifically designed" portion can handle 48 hours worth of floating bathroom time, if you catch our drift!
