Now this is just dog gone cray cray!

Scientists have found a 1,000 year old mummified dog in Mexico in the Candelaria Cave.

The researchers believe the pooch was mummified as part of rituals for hunting and gathering.

Tests will be done to determine how old this dog really is.

In Benin, a country in West Africa, tribal people love their dogs.

Dogs are the only animals they give names, because they are their companions.

Though every four years they brutally kill and eat a dog in a ritual where boys become men.

We don't care how ancient your culture is or how sacred your traditions are, ignorance is no excuse for animal cruelty.
