Kim Kardashian is not backing down.

Despite the FTC's recent claims that Skechers lied about their clinical studies, which apparently "proved" Shape-Ups promoted weight loss and muscle tone, Kim is still standing by the shoe company.

And no one's surprised.

Those Skechers Shape-Ups that Kim Kardashian used to endorse is now at the center of a lawsuit between the shoe company and the Federal Trade Commission.

Just like Reebok, the FTC has ruled the shoe company's so-called clinical studies that "proved" their sneakers helped people lose weight and strengthen their butt, leg, and stomach muscles were a bunch of hooey and now they've gotta pay up!

Skechers has agreed to shell out $40 million in settlement costs and anyone who purchased Shape-Ups are eligible for a refund.

However, Skechers is determined to prove their sneakers are legit and are already planning to conduct more research.

Kim Kardashian is excited about her Super Bowl ad for Skechers ShapeUps.

Kimmy even took to her blog today to post some special sneak shots of the ad.

She wrote:

“Check out these screenshots from my Skechers ShapeUps Super Bowl commercial!! Pretty steamy, right?

You’ll have to watch the SuperBowl on Sunday to see exactly what happens… but I break someone’s heart in the end.”

And if you’re one of those who just tunes in for the commercials, Kim reveals her ad will air close to the 2 minute warning during the second half of the game.

We’ll need to check it out!

Looks like things are all well again between Kim Kardashian and Skechers after the whole Reebok endorsement Tweet of the past.

The face of Skechers is getting in shape for a commercial she’ll soon be shooting for the shoe company.

And Skechers is spending some big money on the ad as it’s set to appear during this year’s Super Bowl!

Kim reveals about the ad:

“I don’t want to give too much away, but the storyline of the ad is so fun and I think you guys are going to love the commercial. I have to break someone’s heart in the end… but you’ll have to wait to see why!”

And it seems she’s been a fan of the Super Bowl commercials for a while.

Kim adds:

“It’s a huge honor to be starring in a Super Bowl commercial. When I was younger I used to love the Pepsi ads from the 1990s starring Cindy Crawford… so sexy!”

We can't wait to see the final result!

Bring on the dramz!

On Monday, Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner announced they're partnering with Skechers Shape Ups for a new campaign.

But, and that's a big but (ha!), Kim may find herself in legal trouble with Reebok since she once promoted their version their athletic shoe, the Easy Tone, on her website last year.

Kim wrote on her blog back in June of 2009:

"Kourtney, Khloe, my mom and I went to a very cool Reebok party the other day. It was the launch party for Reebok's Easy Tone shoe's… [B]asically it works your leg and butt muscles as you simply walk…We wore them all night!"

It's also believed she was paid $10,000 to tweet about them in December:

Heading 2 the gym! Got my @Reebok EasyTones on! LOVE THESE! Go get 'em at @Dickssportcmo

So does that mean Kim should lawyer up?

Not quite.

A Los Angeles based business lawyer says:

"From a legal standpoint, if there's nothing in her contract with Reebok keeping her from endorsing other products, even those that directly compete with ones she's previously endorsed, she's free to lend her name to the Skechers campaign."

And there you have it.

However, it does prove the Kardashians will promote anything thrown at them.

Guess what!?

The Kardashians are gearing up to hawk another product!

Yes, really.

The family of 100 endorsements announced on Monday they're partnering with Skechers to promote those misleading fitness shoes known as Shape Ups.

Only Kim and momager Kris Jenner are in on the "Shaping Up With The Kardashians" global campaign which includes a mother/daughter fitness challenge that they believe "will encourage consumers to begin their own Shapeups fitness challenge".

We're sure they will.

The new ads with Kim and fourth Kardashian sister, Kris, roll out next year.

Celebrity photographer Richard Reinsdorf has filed a federal lawsuit against Skechers and he's looking for a HUGE pay out.

In the suit, Dick claims the shoe company ignored the limits of where and how long his images could be used in their ads, and now he wants $250 million to make up for their mistakes.

Damn. That's a lot of Shape Ups .

Think he'll get it???
