Demi Moore And Rumer Willis Reconnect Through Yoga!

Filed under: Demi MooreRumer WillisYogaFamilyCeleb Kidz

demi moore rumer willis reunion yoga west hollywood

Wow! Looks like yoga doesn't just lead to inner peace!

It was only a few months ago that Demi Moore's attitude during her Ashton Kutcher breakup caused her daughters to distance themselves from their troubled mom.

But now it seems Demi and Rumer Willis have found some common ground- and it's on a yoga mat!

The mother and daughter were spotted in West Hollywood leaving a yoga class together, and the two looked happier together than we've seen them in a long while!

Maybe they're also getting a little girl talk in about Demi's new guy!

We're just glad both ladies were flexible enough to see each other's point of view! Yay!

Derek Hough And Nephew Duck And Cover

What the heck is Derek Hough doing???

Is he giving his nephew some tips on how to do those amazing gymnastic feats we've seen him perform on Dancing With The Stars?

Is he showing him how to duck and cover to survive a tornado?

Or are they just playing ostrich?

This pic that Derek posted on his blog yielded a lot of HIGHlarious captions, but we think it's best just to let it speak for itself!

EXCLUSIVE: Get Your Kids Into Yoga!

Exclusives: Get Your Kids Into Yoga!

We have the key to calming your kid!

Okay, yoga for kids may sound a little odd, but according to many parents yoga works wonders!

Nationally commended yoga instructor, Susie Lopez, decided to devote herself to teaching children’s yoga after witnessing yoga’s powerful calming effect on her son. After earning her teaching certification, Susie joined Bent On Learning, NYC’s largest supplier of free yoga instruction in public and charter schools.

Susie has some FAB tips to encourage kids and their parents to get active throughout the day, while breathing a little zen and good energy into their routines!

Here's some of her everyday tips for kids yoga:

1. Morning Time can be chaos! Making breakfast, packing lunches, finding that glove, sock or treasured pair of jeans. Try to wake up a few minutes early and do 5 Sun Salutes or if there is no time, try Masaai Warrior Jumps right before leaving the house, like a sports team huddles together before a game … bonding, energizing and fun, they will be set up for a great day.

2. Lunch is a welcome break from a long morning, a chance to regroup and restore. After eating, ask them to sit in their yoga seats for just a few minutes of quiet, deep breathing. This will allow food to digest more efficiently and the whole exercise may give the benefits of a half hour nap, without the sluggish wake up. Imagine a favorite day of summer, a rainbow spreading across the sky or a balloon floating over the city … anything to focus and take your mind on a quick trip!

3. After School is time to get a great snack; maybe a smoothie, some warming soup or a few oatmeal cookies with milk. After, a great exercise is to watch the first Look Up DVD, you can tour the world, get your recommended daily allowance of exercise and share a fun experience with your caregiver / Mama or Daddy.

4. Nighttime is all about a warm bath, good books and some soothing Moon Salutes. The Moon Salute compliments the Sun Salute only with an emphasis on lateral movement. NB a child who is read to for just 20 minutes a day has increased vocabulary and a higher reading skills. If you wish, you can incorporate yoga movements into almost any child's favorite story. Sweet dreams!
