13-year old Connor Steventon saldy died last month after a 2 year battle with a rare form of cancer that affects the soft cells, muscles and fat. Connor’s courage throughout his illness inspired many and a call for help to pay for treatment raised thousands.
Zac Efron was one of those moved by Connor’s fight. Zac took time off from filming on a local set in the Isle of Man to surprise Connor for his 13th birthday, just a few weeks before his death.
Sad. But very sweet of Zac to give of his time to cheer the sick teen up.
Connor’s legacy will live on through Connor’s Causes — a soon to be established charity that will reallocate the remaining money that Connor’s supporters valiantly raised to assist others in need.
