Ruby Holt has done something most humans will never accomplish…
She’s walked the earth for 100 years!!
That’s right, Ruby spent most of her life on a farm in rural Tennessee. She picked cotton, raised four kids and never saw the sea. Not once.
It’s apparently pretty hard to get a good view of the ocean from Tennessee, even if you stand on a chair. LOLz!

We can’t imagine how amazing it must’ve been for Ruby to actually get to visit the ocean and take a stroll in the sand!
She said:
“I’ve heard people talk about it and how wonderful it was and wanted to see it, but I never had the opportunity to do so.”
Until now! Her assisted living center, Brookdale Senior Living Solutions, partnered with Wish of a Lifetime, a group that grants wishes to the elderly.
They paid all her expenses to send her to the Gulf of Mexico!! So incredible!
