Ageism Exists!! Miss Delaware Amanda Longacre's Crown Ripped Away From Her Because She's 'Too Old' At... Wait, 24??

Amanda Longacre won the prestigious title of Miss Delaware, but not long after was punched in the gut. Metaphorically.
But just cause she wasn’t physically injured, doesn’t mean it was any less painful when her crown was ripped away from her!
The Miss America Organization requires contestants to be between 17 and 24 years old, and while Amanda is only 24, she’ll be 25 in October.
So even though she signed contracts, and even presented them with her birth certificate, she was still stripped of her title, her tiara and all her prizes… which includes an $11,000 scholarship!
That’s so awful!!
Thankfully, she’s hired an attorney and is ready to fight back!
