Excuse us! Now that the original Beverly Hills, 90210 AND its remake series, 90210, will soon just be a memory, we suppose we’ll have to use your proper name, Jason Priestley!
But we digress:
The original series star, who has worked behind-the-scenes as a director for the updated version of America’s favorite zip code, has taken to Twitter to congratulate the cast and crew on what they’ve managed to accomplish over the past five seasons…all the while reminding the world that back when he was the leading man, the WB drama lasted DOUBLE that time!
He wrote:

Awww! It sounds like they’re all really bummed!
But hey! In light of such sudden, unexpected news, we think Jason, Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling all should reunite for at least a CAMEO appearance in the May finale!
West Beverly Hill alums haven’t been on the scene for AT LEAST three years!
The newbies were given their time to shine without reminders to the originals, and OBVIOUSLY, look how that turned out!
Come back and remind the world what made you all so FIERCE, guys! PLEASE?!
All right, all right, so that’s just a pipe-dream!
But every cast member – past and present – deserves a proper good-bye!
