Matt Lanter Says It's A "Shame" 90210 Is Losing Trevor

We couldn’t agree more.

Last week, it was announced that next season, Trevor Donovan, who plays Teddy on 90210, will not be back as a series regular. His character whose coming-out storyline dominated the season this year, will be written out after the first couple of episodes.

No one is sure why, not even his costars – like Matt Lanter, who shared his disappointment in losing Trevor as a costar at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles. He said:

”It’s a shame; [Trevor] did a beautiful job in his role. I don’t know the situation, but I think he’ll be back for a few more episodes.”

He really is such a good guy and his character is still really important to a lot of kids out there.

So, what gives here? Why is he leaving exactly? We want the answers … and we want them now!
