Uncle Jesse has been busy – allegedly!
The Michigan trial where Allison Coss and Scott Sippola defended against allegations of extorting John Stamos for $680,000 by claiming they had photos of the star with cocaine and hookers kicked off yesterday.
During opening remarks, the woman’s attorney claimed the actor had a brief fling with a 17-year-old girl during her spring break trip to Florida in 2004. The presiding judge ruled that testimony of their relationship would not be allowed.
“The allegations made today in the courtroom by the defendants’ attorneys during opening statements will not be proven because they are simply untrue,” said Stamos’ attorney, William Sobel.
Defense lawyer Sarah Henderson has another story. She claims the actor met Coss when he was separated from his wife. He noticed her and another girl from across the room, gave them drinks despite knowing their age and he invited them back to his hotel room.
The two ladies, who worked as strippers, showed up at the hotel with a bag of cocaine. The girls said that they took a picture of John bending over a table of drugs, but prosecutors don’t believe the picture exists.
Henderson believes that Stamos and Coss made out on the bed and they got into a hot tub together – he was naked and she stripped to her underwear. Supposedly, John offered to perform oral sex on her, but she declined. According to her shady camp, he became frustrated and broke a bedpost, but apologized soon after. He invited her to spend the night and she accepted.
Over the next few years, they supposedly held a “flirty kind of relationship” via e-mail. Stamos later received two emails from “Jessica T’ who claimed to be pregnant with John’s baby. He then got several emails from “Brian L,” who claimed he had the alleged compromising photos and demanded the money.
Prosecutors believe Coss and Sippola sent the emails.
Stamos contacted the FBI and the two were arrested at K.I. Sawyer International Airport.
“This is really just a get-rich-quick scheme that is based on lies and betrayal,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Maarten Vermaat.
Yikes!
