A Rambo prequel, eh? We are so intrigued!
In an effort to promote The Expendables, Sylvester Stallone hit the pages of Ain’t It Cool News, where he wrote about the possibility of a Rambo prequel:
“I certainly think this is worth pondering because it’s intriguing to find the whys and wherefores of how people have come to become what they are.”
He continued with:
“The traumas, the loss, and the tragedy of being in Vietnam would certainly be a great challenge for a young actor, and it would be ironic that Rambo directs younger Rambo after having played it for 20 plus years.”
That’s all fine and dandy, but we’re interested in exploring potential actors for young Rambo. Here are some initial thoughts:
Zac Efron – Of course guys want to see Rambo movies, but add Zac into the equation, and Rambo now attracts a drastically wider audience. Provocative, right?
Michael Cera – This would be insanely off-type for him. Sure, it might be a disaster, but if it worked out? Epic.

TAYLOR LAUTNER – Because he├óΓé¼Γäós totally ripped and we know from the Twilight movies that he can navigate the woods. What do you think?
