Lisa Hochstein is getting the last laugh!
As fans know, The Real Housewives of Miami star’s estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein, filed for divorce in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage. And he wasted no time going public with a new relationship either! We mean, the 58-year-old plastic surgeon waited only days to reveal he was dating a much, MUCH younger model named Katharina Mazepa!
Given the shocking timing, people could not help but think Lenny cheated on Lisa. Even the reality star believes he had an affair with Katharina. However, Lenny insisted there was no overlap in the relationship with the half-his-age former pageant queen. Yeah, right…
Of course, no one bought a word of it! Not when a hot mic moment that aired on the show later pretty much confirmed he was involved with another woman! Ouch!

Flash forward to a year later, Lenny and Katharina landed themselves in even more trouble with Lisa and her fans. They took a huge step in their relationship in July 2023 and got engaged — even though he is still legally married to the Bravolebrity. See (below):
Try to act surprised for this next part, everyone, but “forever” isn’t happening for Lenny and Katharina. Their engagement is OVER now! Lenny confirmed the news to Page Six on Wednesday, saying:
“We recently ended our engagement. I have decided to move forward with my life.”
He then wished the 29-year-old “nothing but the best,” adding:
“I have nothing but love and admiration for Katharina and her family.”
Talk about a far cry from how he treated Lisa — his longtime wife and the mother of his two children — when they split. Jeez. Lenny went on to say about Katharina that he “will be forever grateful for the time [they] spent together” and is “proud of her growth as a woman.” Ew, that’s what you say about a daughter! Gross!
Lenny didn’t spill on what led to their split. And don’t expect Katharina to say what happened, either! She shared the same sentiments to the outlet but clarified that she and Lenny “amicably” and “mutually decided to end [their] engagement last month.” She continued:
“While we both cherished our time together, we have decided to move forward independently. I have nothing but gratitude in my heart for the beautiful two years we spent together.”
Katharina then noted she would keep their “treasured and beautiful memories in [her] heart forever” before calling Lenny “a wonderful person.” Yeah, many fans wouldn’t agree with that description of him. Ultimately, she wishes “him and his family nothing but the best.”
Innerestingly, their breakup announcement comes shortly after Katharina posted a video on her Instagram Stories that showed her without her engagement ring and almost kissing a blonde mystery guy on a boat! She wrote in the since-deleted post:
“You jump I jump. They say all we need in life might just be a little… push.”

Did her cozying up to another man play into the split? Katharina claims their breakup happened last month, but you never know! Kinds seems like Lenny got a taste of his own medicine!
However, Page Six reported the breakup is unrelated to the video. What’s more, Katharina and the guy didn’t technically share a kiss. Uh huh. That’s totally platonic then, yeah?
Whatever happened, we can’t say we’re surprised about this split. We all saw it coming from a mile away! Now, all we want to know is what Lisa has to say! She was the one hurt the most by the relationship/alleged affair between Lenny and Katharina. So what are her thoughts on his life update? We need Andy Cohen and a camera in Miami ASAP! But for now, everyone will have to settle for the message she posted on the same day the news came out.
On Wednesday, the television personality took to Instagram to share HAWT AF pictures of herself in glam and wearing a cleavage-showing brown dress. She also wrote in the caption:
“You can’t change the people around you, but you can change the people around you.”
