YouTube podcaster Aaron Imholte has been arrested and charged with distributing a sexually explicit image without consent — after he apparently filmed himself committing the crime on a livestream! Yes, this is all on tape!
The 37-year-old is the host of The Steel Toe Morning Show, a podcast that streams on YouTube with about 13,000 subscribers. The podcast is described as a shock jock show where the host often gets into sensitive subjects — and, unshockingly, homophobic and misogynistic topics. Speaking to Fox 9, a former listener said Aaron used to “walk up to the line” but now regularly “crosses it” — and this incident is no exception!

In a May episode, Aaron allegedly sent a nude image of a woman he knows to a guest (who was tuning in via video chat). After confirming if his buddy had gotten the text, his pal said:
“I like tattoos more than I thought.”
Aaron then teased:
“Your boy didn’t do too bad, did he?”
Jeez!
Per the Statement of Probable Cause, he’s allegedly been speaking disparagingly about the victim on his show since April, when he had a relationship breakdown with her and at least one other person. They had been in a Signal group chat together, using the app with the intention of keeping things “private.” They did not.
The podcast guest is apparently fully cooperating. He told investigators he “received a text from defendant, which was a photograph of [the victim] nude.” She was “standing completely nude with both breasts fully exposed.”
When the alleged victim learned about this incident in July, she called Stearns County Sheriff officials. They arrested the podcaster sometime in the last week in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He made his first court appearance on Tuesday and is now facing several charges related to disseminating private sexual images without consent. One felony charge could see him facing up to three years behind bars.
Shockingly, Aaron pleaded not guilty — and denied sending or even receiving the naked pic! He was released on a $75,000 bond on Tuesday after his arraignment and has been restricted from contacting or speaking about the victim in any form and must stay 500 feet away from her home, per The Sun.

Whoa.
This is horrible… Sending any NSFW content without consent is vile in and of itself, but to allegedly do it so brazenly and confidently on a public platform like this is just… insidious! We mean, he’s telling all the guys in his audience this behavior is OK! Not to mention the fact it’s downright idiotic! We’re just glad he’s facing consequences, so maybe his audience will get the message!
