Perhaps…if the producers actually talk to him about doing it.
There are a lot of changes in the TV lineups on some of your favorite shows, but aside from American Idol, the only other show people seem to really care about is The Office. The big question remaining is who’s going to replace Steve Carell once this next season is over.
Dozens of names have been thrown around and now Office executive producer Paul Lieberstein is offering his own selection for the role – Harvey Keitel!
Harvey is primarily a dramatic actor, but after his stint on Life on Mars, Paul seems to think that he’s capable of the cross over. The only problem is no one has asked him to do it yet! Paul explains:
“I haven’t started any talks with his people, but Harvey would do a great job├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥a very different energy. And we don’t want to bring in another Michael, having someone play a very similar character because we have such a high regard for Steve.”
What’s the hold up?! Get on the phone and get things moving. Unless, as we suspect, you are still hoping Steve will change his mind?
