Keith Urban just performed at a Mar-a-Lago party and fans are FREAKING OUT!
Yeah, you read that right. Nicole Kidman‘s ex has decided to spend a night of his time alongside billionaire Anthony Pratt and President Donald Trump for a late night party in Florida. Something that has fans not too happy with the Aussie… But his song choices have confused fans even more than this appearance there.
During his private performance, Keith belted out Bob Marley‘s This Is Love and Chappell Roan‘s Pink Pony Club, the second being a queer anthem. What a song choice for a room of billionaires and politicians! See the video of the singer’s performance (below):

In case you aren’t aware, Pink Pony Club was written about an iconic gay bar called The Abbey in West Hollywood. And, of course, Chappell herself is a lesbian. Fans aren’t sure WTF Keith was doing performing at Mar-a-Lago to begin with… But then to sing a song like this? Everyone’s heads are spinning.
Across social media, some fans slammed him for using Chappell’s song:
“Performing for Trump? No wonder he and Nicole got divorced over irreconcilable differences.”
“Keith Urban is one of my biggest disappointments, he seemed like such a nice guy but has been showing his ass recently. We truly don’t know people. Also I hope Chappell drags him to filth.”
“Boooo I can’t believe anyone wld want to perform in front of a man who has tortured immigrants and non-white Americans”
“I hope Chappell sues him for using her song”
While others came to his defense, saying he was using the opportunity to make a “statement”:
“Kind of a ballsy move”
“I don’t agree with him performing here but he did make a statement by playing pink pony club”
“LOL KEITH URBAN SANG PINK PONY CLUB RIGHT IN TRUMPS FACE I KNOW HE WAS FUMING”
“Surprised they didn’t throw him out but what a power play”
Now, it’s worth mentioning Keith has never been open about what his political views are… And has notably dodged questions about them in the past.
