Alright, well now we’re really intrigued.
Early last week, officials in Bosnia refused to grant Angelina Jolie filming permits to work in the European country because of the subject matter of her still untitled directorial debut. The flick is said to be about a rape victim who falls in love with her captor and authorities weren’t comfortable with the politics of that.
But this morning,we’ve gotten word that the ban has been lifted and that the government has given Angie her permits. Apparently, once officials got their hands on the script, everything was right as rain again. A source from Bosnia confirmed that the script has been approved and that the film is schedule to start production next month. An insider on the movie reveals:
“Everyone is relieved. Jolie feels like a huge weight has been lifted off the team’s shoulders. It’s great news.”
Sure is and not bad publicity either. Now everyone is going to want to see a movie that was deemed suitable by the government, regardless of that fact that it condones a romantic entanglement of a rape victim wither her rapist.
We just don’t see any delicate way of handling that! We’re ready to be surprised, Angie!
