Talk about making sure there are no misunderstandings later…
It sounds like King Charles wasn’t taking any chances when he finally reunited with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children at Highgrove House.
According to a brand-new report from Page Six on Tuesday, the monarch made sure Queen Camilla was right there beside him for the private family meeting. And apparently, that was NOT by accident!

Royal author Robert Jobson explained to the outlet on Monday:
“The queen was there for a reason: to make sure that everything was witnessed.”
Chilling…
After all, considering Harry and Meghan have spent the last few years airing plenty of royal grievances via media projects including their Oprah Winfrey interview, the Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries, and Harry’s memoir Spare, can you really blame Charles for wanting a witness???
Still, whatever happened behind those palace doors may stay there… unless someone decides otherwise. As Jobson put it:
“The only people who know were inside the room.”
Even more chilling!
The big question, of course, is whether Harry and Meghan will eventually tell the world what was said.
Interestingly, this isn’t a new strategy for the royals. After all, the late Queen Elizabeth II also reportedly insisted on having another person present during calls with Harry and even refused to let the Sussexes bring a photographer when she met Princess Lilibet. So, this new report would seem to track, then!

Ultimately, despite years of family tension, Jobson claimed Charles agreed to the reunion because he wants to have “no regrets” as he continues treatment for cancer. The royal expert explained:
“He’s living with cancer, he’s had a lot of meetings lately with people.”
As we’ve been reporting, the reunion came after a rough UK trip for Harry, who lost his privacy legal battle against Associated Newspapers and was reportedly even denied a room to stay at Buckingham Palace. Even so, he managed to bring Meghan, Prince Archie, and Lilibet from Portugal for the family’s first visit with Charles and Camilla in four years.
Oh! And also! Camilla’s presence is especially noteworthy given Harry’s history with his stepmother. In Spare, he claimed he and Prince William begged Charles not to marry her and even accused Camilla of sacrificing him to improve her own public image. Yeah…
Sooo, was it a coincidence that she was in the room this time? Maybe. But was it also a smart move by Charles after everything that’s happened?! You can definitely see the logic.
