Prince Harry‘s reunion with King Charles III went SO well, the royal family is already in talks to plan a bigger get-together — but how does Prince William feel about that?!
As Perezcious readers know, Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet met with Charles and Queen Camilla in a rare reunion at Highgrove House earlier this month. It was a monumental moment for the estranged family, though it didn’t happen without some drama, and that seems to be why William wanted nothing to do with it!

It’s no secret Harry hasn’t been able to win back the love and trust of his brother as easily. Despite only being a few miles apart during his UK visit, the brothers didn’t spare a moment to see each other. A source told Us Weekly on Wednesday:
“William has become cautious.”
Rebuilding trust between them is going to take a lot more than a simple conversation, the source predicted, but a thawing of the ice isn’t out of the question despite what other sources have speculated in the past. The insider said that William and Princess Catherine actually really appreciated how Meghan brought the kids to meet with the king! And so for Princess of Wales, her heart is softening:
“Kate [Middleton] values harmony, but she also supports where William is emotionally. She would love for things to come together and be repaired, but will support William and his timeline.”
After four years, it was a big olive branch for the Sussexes to all come. It’s nice the heirs see the effort their relatives are putting in to make amends!
Because things went so well with the meet-up, there’s a chance Harry and Meghan could be invited to the family’s holiday celebrations, too! Wow! The source said:
“That idea has been floated as a possibility, so that William and Kate and their kids could see them at the next visit.”
OMG!
That would be… downright shocking!
Don’t get too excited, though. Even if the Montecito residents were to get an invite and attend alongside William and Kate, it doesn’t mean they could settle all their issues at once:
“There’s still a lot of hurt, and it’s going to take time to heal. Meetings can be reassuring, but they won’t change things too dramatically. The relationship between Harry and William will never be what it used to be.”
It would sure be nice if they could all come together peacefully amid Charles’ cancer battle, though! What a gift that would be! And if the brothers could just get in the same room together, maybe it would open up the possibility for healing in time??
