Things have taken a VERY disturbing turn in Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez‘s already contentious custody battle.
According to TMZ, the actress’ ex-husband has filed for a temporary restraining order against her and is making shocking allegations involving their 12-year-old son, Maceo.
Olivier claims that last Saturday Halle physically attacked their son, allegedly jumping on him, putting her hands around his neck, and choking him.
He alleges Maceo called him afterward and said his mother had put him in a chokehold.
And according to Olivier, this allegedly wasn’t the first time something like this has happened.
Those are incredibly serious accusations.
Olivier is now reportedly asking the court for sole custody of Maceo. He also wants a judge to order Halle to stay away from both him and their son.
It should be stressed that these are Olivier’s allegations. At this point, TMZ has not reported a response from Halle to the accusations or that a judge has ruled on Olivier’s requests.
As Perezcious readers may remember, this custody battle has been ugly for a while. Back in 2024, Halle was the one who filed for sole custody of Maceo, accusing Olivier of refusing to co-parent with her in a way that put their son’s needs first.
That came after the former couple finally settled their divorce in 2023, nearly eight years after their split, agreeing at the time to joint legal custody.
And now THIS.
We sincerely hope Maceo is okay and that the truth of whatever happened is determined quickly.
