This is SO sweet to see!
Jenelle Evans’ 17-year-old son Jace is giving fans a rare glimpse into his life these days, and the Teen Mom alum’s oldest child looks like he’s having a wonderful time!
On Instagram this week, Jace shared a mini vlog showing off some everyday adventures with his friends and grandmother Barbara Evans. And after everything the teenager has been through this year, it’s really nice to see him smiling!

The video features Jace enjoying a car ride with friends, cruising around on an electric scooter, and laughing after he and a pal accidentally take a tumble! There’s even a funny little moment featuring Barbara cleaning up doo-doo after the family dog!
Alongside the video, Jace simply wrote:
“hope u guys are having a good day”

Of course, as Perezcious readers know all too well, Jace has endured a difficult year involving serious mental health struggles. He entered a treatment facility back in February following a troubling incident at Barbara’s North Carolina home. He eventually left treatment over the summer and returned to living with his grandmother.
Of course, a happy IG video doesn’t tell us everything about how someone is doing. But seeing Jace laughing, hanging out with friends, and enjoying some ordinary teenage fun is certainly encouraging! We’re rooting for you, Jace!!
