After all types of delays, it looks like the new Mad Max is now set to start filming next January.
Here’s what director George Miller had to say about it:
├óΓé¼┼ôWe will restart pre-production later this year and begin early next year├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥weather permitting. We├óΓé¼Γäóve built the vehicles. We├óΓé¼Γäóve designed the movie. The principal cast is locked in. The film is funded. It├óΓé¼Γäós all ready to go. We just wait.”
“All the contracts are signed. It’s a locked-in film. It has been for 18 months now. Ironically, had we been shooting in Broken Hill in January and February—when we were meant to—we would have been flooded out.”
Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron are set to star in the film, but Take Me Home Tonight star Teresa Palmer will most likely NOT be involved when the film starts up in January.
Here’s what she had to say about it:
“I was in negotiations for that movie for a while but then I had I Am Number Four come up and then Mad Max went on hiatus so no I├óΓé¼Γäóm not involved in it at the moment.├óΓé¼┬¥
Ah well. We’re sure Teresa would have been fine in the film, but we were kind of already won over as soon as we heard Tom Hardy’s name!
Are U excited to hear that a new Mad Max is actually going to happen?
