What a cool and cute idea to have a Michelle Obama cameo on the show iCarly!
Not many shows can claim that fame, so we bet the cast and crew are super excited!
If you’re wondering what she’s doing on there, and who her character is, well, we know! She’s playing herself, and she’s doing the cameo to shift some focus on Joining Forces, “an initiative that supports and honors U.S. Military families.”
Here’s what Michelle had to say about it:
“The storyline is very sweet. Carly is a military kid, and that’s always been a part of the script — that’s been a part of their situation. Her father has been deployed … it’s just a way for us to recognize her challenges as well as how her friends are stepping up to support her.├óΓé¼┬¥
The episode deals with Miranda Cosgrove‘s Carly coping with her dad not being able to make it for her birthday, and Michelle Obama making it all okay!
Sounds like it was a lot of fun to shoot, we can’t wait to see it!
