U2 Is World's Biggest Selling Band (Again!)

u2-rock-band-forbes.jpg

For the second year in a row, U2 has been named the highest-paid band by Forbes.

Every year, the mag releases a list of the 25 biggest-earning musicians. Acts that have toured consistently throughout the year tend to make the top spots on the list and U2 was no exception. The Irish rockers pulled in $195 million after bringing their 360 tour to a close, with the tour itself banking over $700 million.

Coming in second as Bon Jovi, who made $125 million and Elton John came in third with $100 million after playing a total of 102 shows over the last year. Rounding out the top five are Lady GaGa ($90 million) and Michael Buble ($70m).
