Awkward! Diddy seemingly went in for a kiss with Bono back in the day and got TOTALLY rejected!!
In a resurfaced clip from the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, Diddy, Usher, and Kate Beckinsale could be seen on stage presenting U2 with the award for best original song for Ordinary Love. That song appeared in the movie Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. In the clip, Bono could be seen accepting his trophy from the Yeah! vocalist before the rapper interrupted to give him a congratulatory hug. But then it seemed like Diddy wanted to do more. WAY more!!

As Diddy went in for the hug, it appeared as though he was trying to also get a kiss from Bono. In turn, the rock star gave him a half-hearted side hug before quickly jerking his head away. Yikes!! Diddy looked visibly pissed before he was quickly ushered away. The drama!

Reacting to the moment on X (Twitter) on Monday, fans commented on the awkward interaction like this:

“That moment was definitely awkward—celebrities have some of the most unexpected encounters!”

Despite fan speculation about the clip, a source told Page Six that the encounter “simply was an awkward moment” and nothing more than that.

As Perezcious readers know, this is all coming back out ten years later and just a few weeks after Puff was arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation to engage in prostitution, and more last month. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, but he has been left to languish in jail without bail.
He is also facing over 100 sexual assault and abuse allegations and many, many lawsuits. Among the claims are allegations that he hosted sex parties known as “Freak Offs” in which he’d supposedly force people into nonconsensual sex acts and then film them. And thus, that is just one of many reasons people are now extra skeptical about his past interactions with other celebs!
