Not As Stupid As She Looks

The meopause network, Lifetime, is working on a shitcom based on Teri Hatcher’s memoir, Burnt Toast.
The book is about a fortysomething single mother who wants her daughter to learn from mommy’s mistakes.
Sounds like a watered down, suburbia version of Gilmore Girls to us.
Although it’s unclear what her role will be in the show (producer, occasional guest star), kudos to Teri for using her fleeting Desperate fame to do something that will hopefully give her a paycheck once the ABC show is over.
On second thought, it’s probably Hatcher’s ‘people’ that make things happen. Need to give credit where it’s due!
