And the News of the World phone hacking scandal story continues…
This time in El Lay – the paper’s Los Angeles-based U.S. editor James Desborough was arrested on Thursday for his alleged involvement in the scandal.
Desborough was called for questioning at a south London police station where the police charged him with conspiring to intercept communications.
The charges itself do not mean there was actually any phone hacking in the U.S., but police are convinced that he was involved in the scandal prior to taking his Los Angeles job in April 2009.
He is the 13th person to be arrested on this case.
Cray-zay. We are shocked at how many media bigwigs have gotten arrested over this scandal. This story is sooooo much bigger than we ever anticipated it to be. Time to lawyer up!
