What’s with politicians being foiled by Twitter so much these days?
No, another didn’t accidentally tweet a pic of his peen again, but one did manage to get punk’d by The Daily Show over the social networking site.
Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman held a “Twitter Town Hall meeting” on Tuesday afternoon and asked his followers to send questions his way via hashtag #Q4Jon.
Jon Stewart and the gang thought it would be HIGHlarious to take advantage of the hashtag and told their twitter followers to “tweet Jon Hamm your questions by 4:15 Eastern! Hashtag #Q4Jon.├óΓé¼┬¥
To no one’s surprise, the results WERE LOLtastic and included two notable gems. One question from a user read, ├óΓé¼┼ôJon, in ten years do you see yourself following George Clooney├óΓé¼Γäós or Tom Selleck├óΓé¼Γäós career path?├óΓé¼┬¥ Jon got the joke and tweeted back:
“I definitely want Clooney’s career path. But I think that Q was for Jon Hamm. Funny prank @TheDailyShow! #Q4Jon”
The funniest question that the presidential candidate answered was one that involved all variations of his first name, as user tjmorf asked:
“@JonHuntsman Do you feel those who spell John w/ H are wasteful liberals using consonants wantonly & w/o discretion? #Q4Jon”
LOLz! In case you were wondering, Jon Huntsman said “yes!”
There goes the “John” vote! Ha!
As usual, The Daily Show folks demonstrated their unbeatable wit, but gave a Republican presidential candidate the chance to show off his good sense of humor too! Great show gentlemen!
