Sony Pictures’ producer Neil Moritz has decided to reboot Paul Verhoeven’s 1997 super-violent sci-fi flick Starship Troopers, and he’s bringing on X-Men: First Class writers Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz to write it.
Okay, we liked First Class, but still! Troopers is kind of a classic, and we can’t imagine a version of the movie film without Neil Patrick Harris in it!
Yes, for those of U who haven’t seen it, NPH was in the original!
Oh, and the ’97 version also featured Denise Richards and Beverly Hills, 90210’s Dina Meyer…and Casper Van Dien! Remember him???
Yeah, we’re pret-ty skeptical about this one…but MAYBE we’ll be pleasantly surprised…
