Chaz Bono, who we just watched propose to his longtime girlfriend at the end of November on OWN’s Being Chaz, has now decided to call it quits with his fianc├â┬⌐e!
Jennifer Elia said yes to Chaz’s proposal atop the Space Needle in Seattle, WA and it was a beautiful moment caught on camera. However, in an unexpected turn of events, sources have confirmed that the couple have just broken up, saying:
“They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another. No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
Ugh! Such terrible timing with the holidays and all, but looking at the bright side, at least they didn’t pull a Kim Kardashian! Ha!
It will be a long time before Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries isn’t the standard for celebrity relationships gone wrong, so Chaz and Jennifer can at least be happy they dodged that media mess!
Sorry things didn’t work out guys, but it sounds like things ended on somewhat good terms. We wish you both the best as you move on with your lives!
