Lindsay Lohan just got another star in her corner!
Zooey Deschanel is sticking up for her fellow SNL host, stating that she believes LiLo did a great job.
As reported earlier, critics hated Linds’ guest spot but movie execs loved it. Zooey is definitely behind LiLo and said the following about Lindsay’s episode:
It’s so hard. And can I say something? I thought she did a really good job; everyone reads off cue cards. There were some people saying ‘She read off cue cards!’ Everyone — the cast members, the host — everyone reads off cue cards. That’s how it’s done, because they change the script right before, so you have to read off cue cards.
Zooey also said that SNL was one of the best week of her life and that live performances take a lot of work so she feels for her hosting sister.
