Oxygen is beefing up their programming schedule with five new reality television shows which sound like they have the potential to give Bravo some stiff competition.
The network announced today that Girlfriend Confidential, All The Right Moves, My Shopping Addiction, and I’m Having A Baby will premiere in 2012.
Much like Bravo’s beloved Real Housewives franchise, Girlfriend will have both an El Lay and New York edition. Each will follow a group of carefully cast women best friends who are chasing their big city dreams in the beauty, fashion, and entertainment industries.
All The Right Moves follows Emmy-nominated choreographer Travis Wall and his friends as they try to open their own dance company.
My Shopping Addiction is more serious and sounds like it is along the lines of Hoarders or MTV’s True Life. The show documents the lives of young people who are facing, you guessed it, a shopping addiction.
If serious dramz is your thing, then you’ll also love watching I’m Having Their Baby. The Teen Mom-esque reality program is a “deep and emotional look at young, pregnant twentysomething women” who are deciding between keeping their unborn children or placing them up for adoption.
