Exciting news for fans of the Leavitt family!
Whitney Leavitt has, without a doubt, become the most successful star from the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
She may have started out with a villain edit in Season 1, but the TikToker never let the negativity get her down. She transmuted all attention into motivation to follow her biggest dreams, eventually landing herself a highly talked-about spot on Dancing With the Stars and then… believe it or not… the starring role of Roxie Hart in Broadway‘s hit musical Chicago.
Yes, we said Broadway!!!
Fans love to watch Whitney so much that it was only a matter of time before her husband Conner got in on the star-studded action. Having always been her #1 supporter — both in social media sketches and in life — her fanbase has constantly thrown love his way. There’s been consistent desire for the family to even get their own reality show (Leavitt Or Leave It and Leave It To The Leavitts being the most popular name ideas so far) because that’s how beloved this fam is. Even with past controversy, you just can’t knock ’em down!
Reflecting on her career transformation, she told People magazine last month:
“I have learned to create more boundaries about what I share. I will always have haters. But I have found a way for it to motivate me where I’m like, ‘Let me prove you wrong.’”
And that she did!

After leaving the reality show in Season 2 because things got so tense with her cast mates, Whitney only returned during Season 3 to snag that Dancing with the Stars gig.
And as we said earlier, it was that ballroom floor buzz that really sparked her new career in entertainment as she won back the love of the world, going on to make history by breaking box office records as a Broadway leading lady.
She and her hubby have even started their own production company as she leans into her acting career and steps away from Mormon Wives.
The mom of three shared of her time on DWTS:
“It reignited something in me that I had lost. I felt like I was this flower that wanted to bloom again, and Dancing With the Stars gave me that opportunity.”

She went on to crush it on Broadway, turning a planned six-week run into a three-month gig with the show’s highest box office gross in history:
“It’s definitely validating.”
Word!
As for how things have played out, she said candidly:
“Regrets? Plenty. But I wouldn’t change a thing.”
And the question on everyone’s minds: is she really done with TSLOMW forever?? Well, Whitney, who recently started drinking coffee after being unable to do so because of her faith, teased:
“I see Secret Lives like a dirty soda. Am I leaving dirty soda and going to coffee? No. Dirty soda will always be a part of my life, as will The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
She obviously knows how much the show propelled her career, she’s not going to bash it now and risk losing out on a potential return or cameo when it’s needed most. Clever!
That said, she is focusing on what’s next:
“I just want to keep going. I love a good challenge, and when somebody tells me I can’t do something, it makes me want to do it even more.”
Sooo, all her haters who wanted to see less of her on screen only ended up motivating her to do more! An awesome way to combat the negativity! And now it’s landed Conner his big break, too!
On Wednesday, after a couple weeks of rumors, it was confirmed that everyone’s favorite DadToker will be joining Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars! Yep, he’s following in his wife’s dancin’ footsteps.
Whitney confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing a loving message for her hubs:
